A Place to Pray with Dignity

A small Muslim community in Sironko District currently performs their prayers under a makeshift shelter with no walls and a leaking roof. When it rains, the community cannot gather for Jumu'ah. When it is cold, the elderly cannot complete Salah. They have been praying in these conditions for years, holding onto the dream of a simple, permanent Masjid.

Aid For Uganda is raising funds to construct a basic but dignified Masjid for this community. This is a sadaqah jariyah — a continuous charity. Every prayer made in this Masjid will, InshaAllah, continue to earn you reward long after we are all gone.
