Who We Are
Aid For Uganda is a grassroots humanitarian charity working in the Sironko District, Mbale City, and across Eastern Uganda. Since our founding, we have been delivering food aid, clean water projects, orphan care, emergency relief, and community development to the most vulnerable people in one of the world's poorest regions.
We are driven by compassion, accountability, and a genuine commitment to making life better for those who need it most. Every donation we receive goes directly to people on the ground.
To relieve suffering, restore dignity, and build resilience for vulnerable people in Uganda through direct, impactful humanitarian aid.
A Uganda where every family has access to food, clean water, education, and the opportunity to thrive.
When disaster strikes, we respond within 24 hours with food, water, and emergency shelter for affected families.
We dig wells and install hand pumps to provide communities with access to safe, clean drinking water.
We run daily feeding programmes and provide clothing, education support, and emotional care for orphaned children.
We distribute monthly food packs to the most vulnerable households, ensuring no family goes hungry.
We support the construction of mosques, schools, and community facilities that serve entire neighbourhoods.
We coordinate local and international volunteers who give their time and skills on the ground in Uganda.
Aid For Uganda operates primarily in the Sironko District, Mbale City, and Eastern Region of Uganda. This is one of the most impoverished regions in East Africa, where hunger, lack of clean water, and poverty are daily realities for thousands of families.
